A press conference on the 6th Athens Half Marathon will be given on Monday 06 February 2017, 12.00 noon, by the SEGAS President, Kostas Panagopoulos, and the Athens Mayor, Georgios Kaminis, at the headquarters of ERGO Insurance (173, Syngrou Avenue).

The Press Conference will be attended by representatives of the Athens Half Marathon Organizing Committee, the Sports and Youth Organization of the City of Athens, the National Hellenic Tourism Organization, the National Host Broadcaster, and the ERGO Insurance, Grand Sponsor of the Athens Half Marathon event starting from this year.

The 2017 Athens Half Marathon will be held on 19 March in the city centre of Athens, starting and finishing at the Syntagma Square, in front of the Greek Parliament. Apart from the Half Marathon Race, the Athens Half Marathon event offers also a 5km and a 3km Road Race as well as a Race for Kids and People with disabilities. The total number of participants in the event is expected to be more than 21,000 runners.
