It is with great pleasure that SEGAS announces a transformative collaboration with the timing company mika:timing, inaugurating a new era for our major events.

This collaboration was based on our need to technologically evolve, upgrade our services and more importantly to keep our commitment to reduce the use of paper in our events thus contributing significantly to the preservation of the environment.

The start of this collaboration is marked by the 2024 Athens Half Marathon, which will held on March 10th. Mika:timing's involvement goes beyond minimizing the event's environmental impact; it aims to enhance the overall runner experience by  reducing their waiting time at the Athens Half Marathon EXPO and providing greater flexibility by enabling us to extend the deadline for managing their registration.

In addition to providing timing services and a new Live Tracking mobile App, mika:timing will undertake the LIVE printing of bib numbers of all participants at the Athens Half Marathon EXPO, ensuring that each runner receives a personalized bib number. Notably, the process of Live printing of bib numbers allows us to extend the registration change deadline of February 9^th (runner replacement, change/add best performance, etc.). However, it is noted that the deadline for the Cancellation Policy, as well as the penalty fee for changes made after February 9^th remain in force.

The new deadline for requests regarding changes to confirmed registrations has now been set for February 25^th and all interested runners should send a request to This email address is being protected from spambots. It is noted that the bib numbers and start blocks of registered runners will be communicated through a Start List on our website as soon as possible and before February 25^th. This timeline allows runners seeking to change their start block to submit their requests in a timely manner. Read in detail the “Registration Management” section on our website .

In light of the above, we would like to inform you that changes and modifications to registrations will NOT BE POSSIBLE after February 25^th, nor will they be accommodated at the Runners’ Center & Half Marathon EXPO. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
