In case you wish to correct/amend the data of your registration and/or make any changes regarding your entry, you have to send a relevant request to one of the following email addresses:

After sending the request you will receive a response with any instructions you need to follow.


CHANGES AT THE RUNNERS' CENTER & HALF MARATHON EXPO WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE.
Changes and modifications to entries are accepted until 25 February. Read in detail each category below.



On the subject of your email request you need to mention the correlating category title which refers to the change you wish to make based on the cases below:


1) Correction of Runners’ Basic Data

Refers to runners’ identification data (name, date of birth, nationality, phone numbers and email address) and not to name/ runner replacement. Any corrections should be send the latest by February 25th.

 

2) Correction/ Add Finish time

Correction or adding your best finish time is possible only until 9 February. After that date, category #8: Change of Starting Block applies.
On your email you need to mention your exact finish time (hh:mm:ss), the event and the year that took place. It is noted that we will only take under consideration times that took place in the past three years (2022-2024).

Attention:  Sending the request doesn’t imply automatic placement in the corresponding starting block.  The time you submit is checked and in case of non-compliance with the above or inaccuracies, the request will be denied.

 

3) Add a Note for Placement in the same starting block with a co-athlete

Adding a note for placement in the same starting block is possible only if the request is sent until 25 February and a penalty fee of 5,00€* applies. After this date relevant requests will NOT be accepted.

In the email request, the athlete's name and registration code must be mentioned. It is noted that the request must be sent by both runners; otherwise the request is not taken into account when placing you in a starting block. Finally, it is noted that in case the request is approved the runners will be placed in the starting block corresponding to the slowest runner.

In case more than one person isrecorded, the above procedure should be done by all interested parties.

→ Attention: Sending the request doesn’t imply automatic placement in the corresponding starting block. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the competition department  and will only be approved  if deemed feasible.

 

 4) Change T-shirt size (Applies only to the Advanced Registration Level)

You must mention the size you wish to receive. It is noted that such requests are accepted until 25 February. After this date, change to the selected T-shirt size will be possible only at the Runners' Center & Half Marathon EXPO and only upon availability. 

 

5) Change Registration Level

Requests for change of the Registration Level are accepted until 25 February. After that date changes in Registration Level will NOT be possible. 

To upgrade from Basic to Advanced Registration Level the runner needs to cover the fee difference between the level.

In case of change in Registration Level from Advanced to Basic, the runner has the option of donating the remaining amount to a Charity Program partnering with this event or the option to receive a refund of the remaining amount after the deduction of 5,00€ as handling fees. The option of refund is possible until 9 February.

 

 6) Change the Race of  Participation

!!! Registrations for all races are sold out, therefore requests for race change are NOT accepted.

Change in the race of participation is possible without penalty fee until February 9, on the condition that the participation limit for the race the runner wishes to participate has not been met. After this date such requests are accepted until 25 February and a penalty fee of 5,00€* regardless of the race. In addition, the applicant must cover any fee difference between the races and registration levels.

In case a runner wishes to change the race of participation from the OPAP 5km Road Race to the Half Marathon Race, he/ she needs to cover the fee difference between the races.

 In case a runner wishes to change the race of participation from the Half Marathon Race to the OPAP 5km Road Race, there is NO refund of the fee difference between the races. The runner has the option of donating the remaining amount to a Charity Program partnering with this event.

7) Change the Registration Name / Runner Replacement

A change in a runner's entry name (entry replacment to a different runner) is possible free of charge until February 9. After this date such requests are accepted until 25 February and a penalty fee of € 5.00 * is applied.

The request for the registration name change needs to be sent by the Original Runner and he/she needs to state the personal information of the New Runner. Change of registration name at the Runner's Center & Half Marathon EXPO is NOT possible.

8) Change of Starting Block

Arbitrary change to the Start Block by a registered runner is prohibited and results to his/her disqualification in the race.

Changing the Starting Block is possible only with approval by the Organizing Committee. This change can only be made until 25 February and a charge of 5,00€* is applied. In case the runner wishes to be placed in a better starting block, proof of performance (participation certificate or official race results) will be requested in an event with a certified course during the last three years (2022-2024).

It is noted that in case the limits of each starting block that the runner wishes to be place have been completed, then he/she is placed in the next starting block with avalability.

Finally, changes to the starting blocks will be made within reasonable limits, depending on the best finish time of the runner. E.g. A runner with best finish time at 40 minutes in a 5km distance can NOT be placed in the first starting blocks.

 Attention: Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will only be made if deemed feasible.

 

9) Cancellation of registration

Cancellations are possible strictly until 9 February 2024. Cancellation request should only be sent to the following email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

In all cases of cancellations requests sent up until the above date to the above email, the registration fee is refunded to the applicant, after the deduction of 5.00€ as handling fees, regardless the race/ level of registration and reason of cancellation. It is noted that any NGO donations are non-refundable.

10) Duplicate Registration/s

As stated in the Terms of Registration of the event, it is forbidden to submit more than one registration in the same race by the same runner. In case a runner has submitted more than one valid registration, either individually or through a team, he/she must promptly inform the Organizing Committee via email, otherwise only the registration submitted first remains active.

The subsequent registration, if submitted individually, is canceled according to the Cancellation Policy of the event without prior notice, while in case of team registration, the entry is released to the team for management, with relevant notice to the team leader.


In case that a runners' bib number needs to be re-printed for any reason, a penalty fee of 5,00€ is applied.


* The penalty fee for these changes is applied as handling fees. The penalty fee is not applied in the case 1, 4 and 5.
