Following last year’s success, the amazing mobile application of the Athens Half Marathon returns! The app is here to offer the most authentic experience to those that wish to “follow” their friends and family members running, as well as useful information to the runners themselves.

Are you a runner? Is your friend running? Do you just want to keep track with the authentic action in real time (live tracking) on your mobile device? The only thing you have to do is download and install at your smart phone, tablet, and/or personal computer, the “MYLAPS Sporthive Live Events” application, available for iOS and Android.

All runners participating in the 8h Athens Half Marathon events can directly share their running time with their friends in social media, upload selfies, and get informed at any time about the latest races news, but also view again their entire race thanks to Live Tracking Replay!

The ATHENS HALF MARATHON EXPO, which is also the Registration Centre for the Athens Half Marathon event, is the most important exhibition event in Athens in spring and it is held on the occasion of the most massive sport-tourist event of Athens over the last years. It is one of the most massive exhibitions focusing on sports and it is characterized by its dynamic growth. The visitors of the HALF MARATHON EXPO have the chance to get informed about and acquainted with all new running and sport products, accessories and services that fulfil the daily needs of every runner and sport fan.

In order to facilitate the runners and visitors of the HALF MARATHON EXPO, there will be free transportation option between HELEXPO MAROUSSI and Metro Station NERATZIOTISSA all days and hours that the HALF MARATHON EXPO will be open for the public, via busses that will run on a circus route.

Furthermore, on Friday 15 March at 17:00 to 20:00, “The Big Practice of 11” will take place in the HALF MARATHON EXPO. Join the top Greek Fitness Professionals in a training session of high standards.

The ATHENS HALF MARATHON EXPO, the unique exhibition event that has become a habit for the sport community in Athens during spring, will take place this year on 14 – 16 March 2019 in the high standards facilities of HELEXPO MAROUSSI Exhibition Center.

Just a few days after the 2019 dawn, we are getting ready for the first top mark in our 2019 running calendar; the 2019 Athens Half Marathon to take place on 17 March 2019 in the heart of the Athens city center, with more than 25,000 runners of all ages!

Registrations for the 2019 Athens Half Marathon event open on 15 January, and following the enormous success of Athens Marathon last November, is expected to be sold-out as well quite soon.

IT IS OFFICIAL! Mark your calendar for the big day! 

It is with great pleasure that SEGAS (Hellenic Athletics Federation) announces the opening of the 36th Athens Marathon Official Registration Period for individual registrations on Monday 18 April 2018, at 04.00pm sharp, local afternoon time (UTC/GMT +2). The 2018 Athens Marathon will take place on Sunday 11 November, 2018. 

The available individual entries for this year’s event are 20% of the total entries, as per the practices followed last year as well. The total number of entries in the shorter distance races of 10km & 5km (morning & afternoon) Road Races sum up to 26,000 runners (instead of 24,500 that was the relevant number of the 2017 event). This number suggests the ultimate registrations limit in these races, in order for the event to be organized as per the high standards of safety and quality that SEGAS applies in all its event.
